Newsletter 13: Spring 2008 Contents Chairman's Introduction | Highland Branch News | Pale Brindled Beauty Moth TrapsRichard Fox sent the following information on mercury-containing lamps. “A couple of moth-ers have asked me recently about potential threat to the supply of mercury-containing light bulbs as a result of new EU legislation on heavy metals. I raised this with Jon Clifton of Anglian Lepidopterists Supplies. It seems that the MV bulbs used in moth traps are safe, at least according to Osram.
