Moth Traps

Richard Fox sent the following information on mercury-containing lamps. “A couple of moth-ers have asked me recently about potential threat to the supply of mercury-containing light bulbs as a result of new EU legislation on heavy metals. I raised this with Jon Clifton of Anglian Lepidopterists Supplies. It seems that the MV bulbs used in moth traps are safe, at least according to Osram. Thought you'd like to know in case you get asked about the same thing.”
